Exhibition „About Nature“ at PlanetArt Festival

From 11st – 21st of September 2019, during Artweek Berlin, the Kühlhaus – an old ice factory in the center of Berlin – will open its doors to encounter art and nature. Renowned artists from Spain, Germany, Russia, Denmark, Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Cuba, Zimbabwe, Switzerland, Hungary, Cyprus, USA and Mongolia impressively show how unique, beautiful and fragile is the nature of our planet.

The festival is under the patronage of Federal Minister Gerd Müller. The exhibition is initiated and organized by NuART Berlin and sponsored by the German Council for Sustainable Development. In cooperation with NABU – Germany’s largest nature conservation organisation – over 3000 square metres of exhibition space will be dedicated to nature, the environment and sustainability. In the exhibition NABU Worlds (NABU- Welten) on the first two floors of the Kühlhaus, NABU presents its international nature conservation projects, such as the protection of the snow leopard in Kyrgyzstan, the preservation of the coffee forests in Ethiopia and many others.

Ausstellung „Natürlich Kunst“ am PlanetArt Festival

Von 11. – 21. September 2019 öffnet das Kühlhaus – ein Industriedenkmal im Zentrum von Berlin – während der Artweek  elf Tage lang seine Türen für eine Begegnung mit Kunst und Natur. Renommierte Künstlerinnen und Künstler aus Spanien, Deutschland, Russland, Dänemark, Mongolei, Kirgistan, Kasachstan, Kuba, Simbabwe, Schweiz, Ungarn, USA und Zypern  stellen auf eindrucksvolle Weise dar, wie einmalig, wunderschön aber auch zerbrechlich die Natur unserer  Erde ist.

Das Festival ist unter der Schirmherrschaft von Bundesminister Gerd Müller. Die Ausstellung ist initiiert und organisiert von NuART Berlin und wird gefördert vom Rat für nachhaltige Entwicklung. In Zusammenarbeit mit dem NABU – Deutschland größter Naturschutzorgnisation – werden über 3000 qm Ausstellungsfläche den Themen Natur, Umwelt und Nachhaltigkeit  gewidmet. In der Ausstellung NABU-Welten auf den ersten zwei Etagen des Kühlhaus stellt der NABU seine internationalen Naurschutzprojekte vor, wie den Schutz des Schneeleoparden in Kirgistan, die Bewahrung der Kaffeewälder in Äthiopien und viele andere mehr.
